鹿化煜简介

一、学习和工作经历

男,19684 月出生于陕西西安,理学博士,教授。19907 月、19937月和19966月分别在南京大学地理学院获得学士、硕士和博士学位(其中,博士学位是与中国科学院、荷兰自由大学联合培养的)。1996 7-1999 6 月任中国科学院黄土与第四纪地质国家重点实验室助理研究员;1999 7 -20016月任中国科学院地球环境研究所副研究员(同时被聘为硕士生导师)。20017 -20063月任中国科学院地球环境研究所研究员(2002 11 月被聘为博士生导师)。20063月至今,任南京大学地理与海洋科学学院教授,2009年被聘为“长江学者”特聘教授。

现任南京大学地理与海洋科学学院院长、南京大学气候与全球变化研究院副院长、教育部海岸与海岛开发重点实验室主任。19984-8月、20023-9月和200412 -2005 5 月、20104-6月分别在荷兰自由大学、英国牛津大学和布鲁诺尔大学、美国威斯康星大学从事研究工作。还兼任中国第四纪科学研究会理事、中国青藏高原研究会理事、地理学会理事、《科学通报》《中国科学》编委委员、《Geography Journal》编委委员和荷兰自由大学研究人员、博士生副导师等学术职务。鹿化煜带领的研究小组与美国威斯康星大学、英国牛津大学、伦敦大学和荷兰自由大学等的科学家有着良好的实质性合作。

二、学术成绩、学科建设和成果

过去气候与环境变化是理解现在和预测未来地球环境必不可少的部分,也是地球系统科学研究的前沿和热点领域。我国自然环境深受亚洲季风、内陆荒漠和青藏高原的控制,研究季风气候变化、干旱环境发展及青藏高原隆升对环境的影响等,不仅对发展地球系统科学至关重要,对我国经济社会发展也具有重要的意义。鹿化煜从1986年读大学开始,师从国内外优秀的科学家学习第四纪地质和气候变化的相关知识;从1996年在中国科学院工作以来,立足中国季风-干旱环境变化的规律和机制研究,同时保持与国际高水平科学家的实质性合作,对中国的黄土高原、沙漠/沙地、东南季风区和青藏高原等进行过60多次的科学考察和长期的野外工作;深入罗布泊、青藏高原腹地和黄土高原考察采样;2006 年初在南京大学工作以来,建成了高水平的年代学、沉积物和古生态分析实验室,组织了有20多位教师参加的多学科联合研究创新团队。他们的研究工作得到了国家科学技术部、自然科学基金委员会、教育部和美国科学基金会、英国自然环境委员会、荷兰皇家科学院、澳大利亚研究理事会等多方的资助。他们取得了国际先进水平的成果,80多篇学术论文发表在本学科领域国内外权威的学术刊物。他本人发表的论文已经被正面科学引用4000余次(包括被SCI引用2200余次),研究成果也得到了同行的认可和重视。现在,鹿化煜正带领着一个精干高效的年轻季风气候/干旱环境演变研究团队勇攀科学高峰。同时,他本人每年承担着本科生(约150人)和研究生(约50人)的“自然地理学”教学任务。这些工作对于人才培养和学科发展也有积极的意义。

迄今,鹿化煜已经培养出研究生33 名,正在培养研究生12 名。鹿化煜曾获“第四纪研究青年科学家奖(2001)”“国家杰出青年科学基金”(2003年)、中国地质学会青年科技奖--金锤奖(2005年)、中国青藏高原研究会青年科技奖(2005年)、第十届中国青年科技奖(2007年)、江苏省教学成果二等奖(2007年,排名第4)、国家政府特殊津贴(2009)、百千万人才工程国家级人选(2009)、国家自然科学二等奖(2010,排名第3)、入选首批国家特殊支持计划(万人计划)“中青年科技领军人才”等奖励和资助。
